Essence of Manipuri
We are residents of Manipur, an important state in the North East. The Meiteis, who live primarily in the state's valley region, form the primary ethnic group. The Kukis and Nagas live in the hills of the state. We speak Manipuri, which was recognized as one of the national languages of India in 1992.
